The funds we are seeking to raise will go towards reducing the rescue's vet bills which average $27,000 per month (as per the charity annual report for 2022). Those costs include vet work to desex or spay, vaccination shots, vet work for more challenging cases that may include emergency vet visits, surgeries like amputation, antibiotics and various tests to narrow down the cause of an illness or determine the severity of an injury. All other costs like food, litter, deworming and flea treatments are absorbed by our wonderful volunteers at their own expense or donated by our generous supporters.

A local animal rescue group is seeing a record number of dogs being surrendered. 4 Lucky Dogs Pet Rescue, Inc. says they've already taken in 100 dogs this year, which is more than all of last year.
